Wallace Centre Garden

Come and join us on Friday 1 May 2026 in the Wallace Centre community garden where we will be hosting a Nature Connect Club especially for young children (up to 7 years).
There'll be lots of creative play activities on the them of bugs and wild flowers.  You'll be able to take home some wild flower seeds to plant and make clay bugs.
Free to access, no need to book.
As usual we will go ahead even if it rains!

Anne & Rachel have been commissioned to design and create a community garden at the Wallace Centre in Abbey Hulton.
A new Family Hub opened at the centrein November 2-25 and the sensory and play garden will be used by the families from the local community who are accessing the hub.
Sheds have been installed and raised beds made and planting areas set out.  Pupils from Carmountside School have helped with some of the planting and there are open sessions for children and adults to join in.
