Art Stop is Festival Stoke's workshop space in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent.
During the summer festival of 2017 Art Stop became the venue for the programme of free arts and music activities featuring the festival artists. We hosted music sessions, print-making, poetry-writing, storytelling, clay making, sculpting in paper, 'arty-party's, and many other creative workshops too - all free to join in.
Additional workshops took place through the Festival Echoes programme from Autumn 2017 into Spring 2018 when lots of people dropped into Art Stop to get creative, relax, enjoy good company, make something wonderful, enjoy quiet space, and laughter too.
Art Stop is the base for the Festival Stoke team to get together and is used for all sorts of creative workshops and can be used by groups for a modest fee, too.
In November 2018 Art Stop relocated to the B-arts building on the corner of a Hartshill Road and Shelton New Road. (72 Hartshill Road ST4 7RB)
