Just like Werburgh,  Queen Aethelflaed has nearly been forgotten by history. Thanks to Tom Holland we can now discover the epic history of England’s influential, but mostly forgotten, Queen Aethelflaed through his fabulous new Ladybird book.
​Listen to author Tom share the story of this formidable leader, pulling her out of the shadowy history of the dark ages, at Festival in a Factory in June.

Competition Terms and Conditions:
Entrants must be 18 or over.
Each winner receives 2 tickets to the Tom Holland event at Festival in a Factory on Saturday June 8 at 3.30pm.
2 winners will be chosen at random.
One entry per person by liking the competition post.
The closing date is 22nd May 2019 at 10am.
Please note that the venue is in Stoke on Trent. Winners will be required to collect tickets on the day of the event at the venue.
Winners will be notified by private message within 2 days of the closing date.
