Come along to a fun drop in workshop with Anne and Rachel from Letting in the Light and help them upcycle and recycle quirky containers and plastic bottles into colourful and interesting planters, pallet gardens and vertical gardens as part of the National Lottery funded Greening Stoke project. These will then be installed on Sunday August 4th at the Festival around the Big Lunch site at Boothen Gardens and will remain there for local people to enjoy. You can also take a bean can planter home that you've made yourself! There will be painting and planting involved so please wear some old clothes! Refreshments will be available at the Summer Street Café. Please note that children under ten must be accompanied by an adult.
